Hi I'm Hermana Carly Holtry

I'm a mormon! I'm also a missionary in the Spain Madrid Mission. I love eating, cooking, sleeping, and serving!

About Me

Hi guys! I am currently serving as a missionary in the Madrid Spain mission. I finished my freshman year of community college before serving my mission, and hope to, when I return, continue my education. I am still unsure as to what field of study I'd like to go into, but whether that be a certification to be a Lab tech or a degree in pathology, I know it'll be awesome! I also love food, both making and eating it, and planning things thoroughly!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My mother was a convert at the age of 18 and my father was born into the church. Throughout my life I have read the Book of Mormon and the Bible hand in hand, praying to know the truth of them. I know that both of these book are true and go hand in hand. I love this church and I am so grateful for it's many wonderful teachings. I know that Jesus lives and he loves us all so much. I wouldn't be where I am without that sincere knowledge.

How I live my faith

I'm living my faith currently as a missionary for this church. Back home, before my mission, I served as a sort of event planner for my church ward. My bishop found out that I love to plan things (I would make powerpoints for fun), so he asked that I join the activities committee. I planned a lot of the Monday night activities for my young single adults ward (ages 18-30) and also many regional activities. It was great! I had so much fun helping to bring the young adults in my area together.
