Hi I'm Bri

I grew up in Utah. I'm a friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an avid reader. I like all kinds of books except mysteries. I enjoy learning and am looking forward to experiencing college life. I like to sing and I play piano and organ. I enjoy traveling. I've spent a wonderful time in Germany as a foreign exchange student and have visited France and Prague. Soon I will be going on a LDS mission to Texas which I am super excited for.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon culture and have always believed The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to be true. I am blessed to have parents who taught me from a very young age to have faith and believe in God. It was one of my daily duties to read the Book of Mormon before I went to elementary school. My mom would ask if I had read it and if I hadn't, she would have me read at least a couple of verses before I left. Thus I grew up with a knowledge of the scriptures and as I have read them for myself, I have gained a greater testimony of their truthfulness. The Book of Mormon truly testifies of Christ as does the Bible. I continue to live the gospel of Christ because it brings me so much peace and comfort in my life. I am a better person because of Christ. Life is hard, but it is even harder when you don't know who you are, where you come from, or where you are going. I'm not perfect, but I do know who I am, where I came from, and where I will go.

How I live my faith

I play the organ in my church meetings. I love the peace that the hymns bring to my soul. Music is such a powerful force. I also enjoy singing occasionally in my church choir. I enjoy doing activities and service projects with friends in my church and my community.
