Hi I'm Karoly Despain

I am from Washington. I love to singing, musicals, cheese and swiming. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in Washington state. When I grew up I enjoyed many actives. I have done cross country, dance, ASL, speech and debate, flag/drill team, and swimming. My favorite thing is musical theatre I love to sing, dance and act. I have preformed in many plays and musicals. I also love watching theatre, my favorite place to visit is new York epicaslly since I can see Broadway shows. But I must add that my family is a huge fan of Disneyland, my family constantly saves money for another chance to go. I graduated from high school with a AA degree through running start and I have been accept into BYU Idaho which I will attend after I serve an LDS mission. On my mission I will go to Santiago Chile to serve for a year and a half.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel brings a happiness in my life that I can't even start to explain. It gives me hope and propose in this life, it teaches me of the blessings of this life and blessings of my life after death. It helps me to remain positive in this world full of hopelessness and despair. It also has kept me safe through out my whole life. Many non members I talk to think the LDS gospel has too many "rules" such as the word of wisdom which gives the members of the church guidelines of what we should put into our bodies. I have followed these my whole life and they have kept me far away from countless dangers. The gospel has blessed myself and my family in millions of ways.

How I live my faith

I always try to live my faith in every thing I do, even when it is not Sunday. I try to be Christ like as I go through my life and interact with others. I constantly try to be an example of the gospel I believe in. Every Sunday I teach the children that attend our church. I am the primary chorister so I teach hymns and children's church songs to the children under 12. I feel that every week I learn more than the children learn. There is such a sprit from constantly singing beautiful and simple music that teaches the beautiful principals and blessings of this gospel.
