Hi I'm Collin Clark

I grew up in Minnesota, lived in India for two years, and will be serving my mission in Kyiv Ukraine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Minnesota and lived there for most of my life, but at the beginning of high school my family moved to India, and we lived there for two years. In my senior year of high school I was the captain of our cross country team. I love to run, swim, play ultimate frisbee, and rock climb. I have been playing the piano for ten years and I taught myself how to play the guitar and ukulele. I will be serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Kyiv Ukraine Mission for two years. After, I will go to Brigham Young University to study physics.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I still needed to gain a testimony for myself. Through reading the Book of Mormon, attending seminary, which is a scripture study class held every day before school during high school years, and prayer, I have felt in my heart the Holy Ghost testify to me that this is truly the restored gospel of Jesus Christ on the Earth today. I have come to know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and through his faith and the Power of God, he was able to restore this church and translate the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon is the true word of God and, with the Bible, contains the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Christ atoned for our sins and died for us, so that we can repent of our sins, become clean, participate in saving ordinances and live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again one day.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve as a missionary for our church. I will be serving in the Kyiv Ukraine mission, and I will be learning and speaking the Russian language. I eagerly accepted this calling because I know this gospel is true, and I have felt the joy it brings in my life. I am excited to share this message to the people of Ukraine because I know it will bless their lives, as it has surely blessed mine.
