Hi I'm Kevin Woodland

I was born in Cali but am a Texan for sure! I love sports, truth, being a leader, dancing, and being productive! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently serving my mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission! I work with the Karen refugees that come from Burma into the United States and I speak their language (Karen). Some of my hobbies include, spending time with friends, jamming to tunes, rugby, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, dancing, jet skiing, four wheeling, waterskiing and wake boarding! I don't believe in going halfway in anything. I am a truth seeker and like to know the truth behind what goes on in the world. I am someone who would be okay in being an integral part in making sure the world runs correctly purely so good choices would be made instead of what's going on in the world now. I love being productive and my goals include first off making sure that my family is rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am set on knowing how the world actually is run, being someone who is a force for good in the lives of many, being cultured in literature, art, music of historic importance. I want to have a successful career in which I can interact with people and be an example of my faith in Christ, hopefully in economics or politics because I love both. I look forward to working hard to support my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the Church if Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but it wasn't until I got to be in my teens that I truly got a testimony of Jesus Christ and His gospel. I truly learned to rely on Him for strength in overcoming problems that I had struggled with for years. Quite simply I have had points in my life where I've lived the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ and there have points where I didn't as much as I should have. The stark contrast between my happiness, motivation, optimism, and outlook on life between when living the Gospel and not ,is a testimony to me that the only way to have true happiness is to follow the example and teachings of Jesus Christ. I know that faith without works is dead, and that through overcoming our trials with Christ we are forgiven for our mistakes and can become who God wants us to become. We're not perfect and we won't be in this life, but that doesn't mean we can't be perfect in trying to be like our Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to love all those that I come in contact with. There is a lot of challenges in life and in the world, I believe that as I do my best to live the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ through helping lift others is one of the best ways that I am able to live my faith.
