Hi I'm Hope Pemberton

I like to read, travel and hike. I enjoy history and learning. I want to be a mom someday. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Hope. I am preparing to serve as a missionary in the North Dakota Bismarck mission. I have four older brothers and one younger brother. I am an aunt to seven nephews and I love spending time with them. I work as a Certified Nursing Assistant and enjoy doing work that benefits others. I often enjoy reading, especially biographies and historical accounts. I also love to hike and be in nature. I spend time studying history and I am very old-fashioned. I also love to travel around the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have prayed about The Book of Mormon and this church and I know it is true. I have been taught these truths all my life, but until I prayed and learned for myself that this church is true I didn't have a reason to live the teachings of the gospel. Now, because I know it is true, I not only have reasons to live the gospel, but I want to. I want to be a part of this church and to live the teachings because I know that when I'm living righteously and I am praying to my Father in Heaven, I am much happier. I am also able to bring happiness to the lives of others through my righteous actions.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through my everyday actions. My job requires me to be seeing to the needs of others on a daily basis and I try to be kind as Jesus would be to them. I know I must pray daily to my Heavenly Father in order to live my faith. I really just try to make good decisions every day. I want to do things that I would be ok doing if the Savior were watching me. My family is the center of my life and I know that I need to treat them well, and that is the best way for me to live my faith right now.
