Hi I'm Dallas DeLynn Cook

Born and raised in Utah. I love adventure. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young man who grew up in the church loving every minute of it. I love music, sports, and adventuring in all the nearby mountains with my friends. I have played piano for as long as I can remember, drums for about 6 ish years, and I have self taught myself guitar, ukulele, and banjo. I did swim team, drum line, dive team, and cheerleading in high school (my friends talked me into cheer my senior year because I know how to do a lot of flips). Fun fact: I can also ride a unicylce. I will serve an LDS mission from August 2015 until August of 2017 in the Spain Barcelona mission. Upon returning, I plan on attending Utah State University and becoming a Computer Engineer.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, for starters I was born and raised into the church, BUT I have formed my own opinion on the gospel, and I love it. I can bear witness that nothing makes you happier than living the gospel. The first time I was able to go through the temple as I saw my aunts and uncles and my parents and grandparents, it was at that moment that I knew that what I want more than anything in this world would be to get married to a wonderful girl in the temple. Only through the gospel can I achieve that and to be able to raise a family of my own. That is why I am a Mormon. It brings me limitless joy in so many different ways.

How I live my faith

I always try to be a good example to my family and friends. We often attend the temple with each other and I love every minute of that. It has also been quite the experience seeing all of my friends go on their missions all around the world. This summer, I have seen a lot of my friends leave their family and homes for two years to travel to Taiwan, South Africa, Pennsylvania, California, Lithuania, London, Colombia, Argentina, Sweden, Japan, Thailand, and many more. It is very exciting to see all of my friends lo/
