Hi I'm Kelli

I'm from California. I love spending time out in nature and meeting new people. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to smile! If I could i would spend all of my time outside basking in the beauty of nature. I am a former NCAA Division One athlete that gave up a full ride scholarship to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been called to serve in the France Paris mission! After I complete my mission I will resume my college schooling and study nursing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have never experienced more joy in my life than when I have tried to follow the example that Jesus Christ set for us. There have been times in my life where I have felt completely alone, inadequate, and unloved, when I attend church and pray all negative feelings begin to vanish and I come to know of my self worth. As I read the Book of Mormon I can feel of Heavenly Father's love for me and all His children. I know that it is truly the word of God and that as we follow its teachings we will be blessed. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers if we have faith in Him. I know that we have a prophet on the earth today that leads us and guides us as God would have him do. I know without a doubt that the Temple is the house of The Lord and that there we are offered more happiness than we could ever imagine. I know deep in my heart that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true and I am so grateful to be a member of the church.

How I live my faith

I love participating in service, I find so much joy in helping others! I love that service benefits both the individual being served and the one serving as well. In my branch I help the women become closer to Jesus Christ and develop stronger faith in Him. As I have been able to focus on helping them, my testimony and faith has been strengthened too. I am now serving a mission for the Church in Paris, France. I am grateful for the opportunity I have to help the French people come closer to The Lord.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Kelli
Families are essential to God's plan for our happiness! Our families are a blessing from Heavenly Father. In our families we have the opportunity to learn, grow, love, and progress together. Family life is not always easy but when centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ we can find strength and joy. We were all born into families with different strengths and weaknesses, but we all have the opportunity to improve and become more like God. No matter what our circumstances may be we can all be united as families for all time and eternity. I love my family and I am so grateful that Heavenly Father blesses all of us with families.
