Hi I'm Ethan Womack

I have been LDS all my life. I am from Texas. I am serving my mission in El Salvador. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Texas and lived there for most of my childhood. I am grateful for my parents for teaching me what it means to have of family who loves me unconditionally. I am 18 years old and am excited to serve a church mission in El Salvador. I love to watch and play sports. While in high school I played on the football team and also participated in track. I plan on attending college at Utah State University upon returning home from my mission in 2017.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel so much. I love the message that through the restored power of the priesthood, families can be sealed for time and all eternity. I am so grateful for this, as my family means everything to me. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that reading it allows us to draw closer to the Savor and salvation. By reading the Book of Mormon and understanding the truth of it, I have come to recognize that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and was a tool in God's hands to restore his church to the Earth once more. I know that each of us here on the Earth today are children of our Heavanly Father and that he loves us perfectly and completely, even in our most difficult moments. I have personally felt his love in my live and can testify of it. He loves us so much that he sent his son to die for us, to perform the Atonement so that we could repent of our sins and have the oppurtunity to return to the presence of our Heavenly Father. I am eternally grateful for Jesus Christ and his sacrifice so that I can overcome my weakness to be perfected before God. This is why we came to the Earth, to learn and grow and have experiences and gain faith in our loving Heavenly Father and to return to live with our families in the Kingdom of God forever. I am so glad to be a member of this church and to understand God's plan for each of us.

How I live my faith

In August of 2015 I will begin a church mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I will serve in the El Salvador San Salvador East mission. I am grateful for the oppurtunity I have to show my obiedience to the Lord's commandment for young men to serve missions. I look forward to having life changing experiences that will increase my wisdom and help me to gain new perspective. I understand that while the next two years will be some of the hardest in my life, I am doing the God's will and I will be able to help his children to be able to return to live with him forever with their families. The Lord has blessed me with so much in my life, that two years of service seems to be such a simple sacrifice he asks in reutrn. I have faith that I will continue to be blessed for my obidience to God's commands and I am eager to help people to feel the Holy Spirit and come to an understanding of the truthfullness of the restoration of the Lord's church on the Earth.
