Hi I'm Brendan

I grew up a member in Colorado. I love the church, and the fact that I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up playing a lot of different sports, but the two that I played the most, and that I'm the best at are football and basketball. I love playing sports because I think they can help mold you into a better person by teaching you personal qualities that you use in everyday life. I am about to go on my mission to the Bolivia Santa Cruz North Mission. I feel that in a lot of ways growing up playing sports has helped me prepare for my mission. It has taught me to work with other people and how to be responsible and accountable to people other than myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is God's church on the earth today. I know the teachings from the Book of Mormon and of the latter day prophets are 100% true. In my own personal life, I can see the difference of happiness and joy of living with the gospel. I know our Heavenly Father wants each of us to be happy here in this life, and this is why he has blessed us with the church. I know the Savior died for each one of us out of pure love, and through the atonement of Jesus Christ, we can return to our Father in Heaven. This is the most generous and greatest gift anyone on this earth will ever receive. I know Joseph Smith was called of God to restore the gospel on the earth today. I can never deny the truthfulness of the gospel that the Holy Ghost has testified to me. I love this church and all of its teaching, and I know it is the true church of God. This is why I am and will always be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in everyday life. It helps me make my everyday decisions, and helps me get through all the hard times of trial in my life. I go to church every Sunday and it is the highlight of my week. It prepares me and helps me get the strength that I need to just get through everyday life. I love everything about the LDS church and the standards that I live. I am going to serve a mission in Bolivia. While I am there I will serve the people of Bolivia as well as teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Bolivia is where the Lord needs me to serve, and that it is the best thing that I can do with my life right now.
