Hi I'm Scott

I'm a Michigan native; a proud Wolverine, Piston, Lion, Tiger and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, staying active, and watching movies. I especially love spending time with my friends and being with my family. I am a college student but, for the next 2 years, I will be teaching the people of Brazil as a missionary for this church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that He suffered for me and I know that He lived and does live for me. Because of this, I try my best to live for Him. I testify that this is His church, He leads and guides it today through His prophet Thomas S. Monson. I testify that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ because I have read it. Furthermore, I have prayed to the Father to know if these things are true and I have felt with an absolute surety that they are. I am also a Mormon because I love my family and through the blessings of our Heavenly Father, my family can be forever.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith everyday. In fact, for the next 2 years I will be going on a mission trip to serve the Lord and the people of Brazil! On this mission trip, I will be sharing the love of God with every person that I meet and I will be sharing the happiness that I have found through my Savior Jesus Christ with every person that I meet so that they can experience that same happiness.

In whom should we have faith?

Our Savior Jesus Christ is the subject of our faith. We believe that our purpose on this earth is to learn, grow and become like our Heavenly Father. The only way that we can accomplish this is through Jesus Christ. Through the atonement, Jesus Christ suffered for all of our sins and by His grace we are saved. So in order to accomplish our purpose, we must have faith in Jesus Christ and live that faith to the best of our ability. Show more Show less
