Hi I'm Brooke Brady

I was born and raised in Texas. I am a Pre-Med college student at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and have lived in Texas my whole life. I grew up as one of the youngest in a large family. I've played soccer for 15 years with a couple years of cross country thrown into the mix. I enjoy hiking, camping and scuba diving when I get the chance. I have completed my first year at BYU and leave for a the Bolivia Cochabamba mission in the next couple of weeks. For the future, I plan to graduate from BYU and enter PA school to become a Pediatric Physicians Assistant.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because the gospel is true. There is no other gospel so complete. Christs teachings and His church were lost a long time back. Man has tried to keep it alive and has done a pretty good job. Each church having their peices of the truth, but there was a need for a restoration. God wants us to have his complete Gospel, not just the pieces. I have prayed about our teachings, our gospel, the book of mormon, and I've gotten my answer. I know it's true plain and simple. There are many other reasons but i suppose thats what it all comes down to. The gospel of Jesus Christ is true and thats why I'm a mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by being and example of what I believe and my standards. Since I am preparing for a mission I spend large amounts of time during the week study the scripture and what it takes to become more like Christ so I can be ready to share His gospel. I also live my faith by attendting church every week in my young single adults ward. Each week I plan these things called mix and mingles. Every week after church singles get together and eat lots of delicious food and just talk and get to know eachother! I really enjoy it!
