Hi I'm Lauren

I was born and raised in Utah. I am a daughter, sister, student and friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student at Utah Valley University. I am a competitive person and love to play any sport, especially soccer. I also love music and enjoy playing the piano and singing. I am crazy about my family and love spending time with them! I have awesome parents, 2 energetic brothers and 4 beautiful sisters. My favorite color is yellow. I love to read books and learn new things. I have a passion for chocolate ice cream and summertime!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? The simple answer is that it makes me happy. The difference in my life when I live the teachings of Jesus Christ and when I don't is night and day. When I live the gospel I am happier, healthier, kinder, more patient, more attentive, more compassionate, more sincere, more forgiving, more positive, and more grateful. I have hope. I wake up with a smile on my face. I know that this gospel is true and that Jesus Christ lived, suffered for my sins, died, and was resurrected. He is my brother and he has changed my life. I love him. I am eternally grateful that although I fall short time and time again, he is always there to welcome me with open arms and to make up the difference after I have done my best. I love this gospel. It is a gospel of love, peace, acceptance and progress. I am grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

The biggest way I participate in my ward and my community is through music. I get to play the organ for the congregation on Sundays. I also get to accompany choirs and special musical numbers on the piano. Music always makes me feel closer to heaven and confirms my faith. It makes me happy.
