Hi I'm McKenna

I'm a math nerd. I love laughing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three awesome, hilarious siblings. My family is #1 and chocolate milk comes in a close second. I love to see the temple. I love books and superhero movies. The outdoors are pretty cool. Hiking, camping, swimming, etc. My greatest dream is to be the scientist that brings back dinosaurs. Most of all, I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. And I will always be indebted to Him for what He has done for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. And I know they love all of us even more than we can comprehend. I know this is the only true church on the Earth. The things I learn from reading the Book of Mormon and attending church each week give me a feeling that nothing else can, and that feeling is full of light and peace. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gives me the tools I need to be happy in this life, and more importantly, be able to return to live with Heavenly Father again. I know Thomas S. Monson is a true living prophet on this earth and that he receives revelation straight from Heavenly Father. I know Jesus Christ is perfect and that all of His teachings are perfect. Reading the Book of Mormon has answered so many of my questions. I know that with the Lord on our side, we can never fail. I know if we come unto Christ, we can be perfected. We can lay our burdens, our trials, and our sins at His feet, and He will help us and love us unconditionally.

How I live my faith

I served the people of Texas for 18 months and it changed my life. I love serving and I pray every single day for opportunities to help others find more happiness. I have participated in many organized church committees, helping bring people closer together through meetings, activities, and best of all: food. I strive to prioritize my life around what Jesus counseled everyone to do in Matthew 6:33, to "seek ye first the Kingdom of God."
