Hi I'm Nate Newbry

I'm from the South and live in the Northwest. I'm all about baseball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Nathan Joseph Newbry and I was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on March 28, 1997. I lived in North Carolina the first 13 years of my life and I loved it! My parents and I have been members of the church all our lives. I have two younger brothers, Jacob and Ben, and one older brother who recently returned from his mission in Vitoria, Brazil. My parents were sealed and married in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1994 and both served their missions in Independence, Missouri. Thanks to my dad, I have grew up loving the game of baseball and have been playing since I was old enough to do so at the age of four. My brothers have shared the love of baseball and have all been playing since they were that young as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have gained a personal testimony that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored, and that this church is true. Because the Lord blessed me with a spiritual confirmation of the truth, I can now share it with others. It means so much to me to have this knowledge. It gives me the peace and comfort that we all strive to have in this life.

How I live my faith

At the moment I am serving a full-time mission in the Wisconsin, Milwaukee Mission. It has helped me grow so much spiritually. It is definitely the best decision I have ever made. It brings me so much closer to the Lord when I can see other making changes in their lives for the better. I am so glad that I have the knowledge that I have of the Restored Gospel, and that I can share it with others every day.
