Hi I'm Brooke Smith

I am an adventurous soul. I'm from Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a lifelong Humanitarian. I am a dancer. I am a traveler. I am adventurous. I am headstrong. I am a Highschool graduate from Utah. I love ukuleles. I love people. I love to be happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. This gospel has surrounded me since birth giving me the great opportunity to rely on other people's knowledge and testimonies of the teachings of the Church. As I grew up I was able to see the difference between the people who knew the Fullness of the Gospel compared to those who did not. And I wanted what those people had. I was forced to really consciously decide for myself how I would obtain that happiness. As I more diligently sought it out by reading my scriptures, asking questions, praying, attending Church and Seminary I could understand it better and better. Jesus Christ and his Gospel make me happy because it gives me hope. Hope in my future, hope that I will be forgiven for my past, hope that I can see my family members who have passed away. Literally hope and peace in everything. The knowledge of this allows me to do hard things and know my potential in the sight of God. I'm a Mormon because it draws me closer to God and it allows for me to continually progress and become a better me. This Gospel isn't about finding the truth, it's about finding the truth, acting on the truth, having faith in the truth, and helping other people discover this truth.

How I live my faith

I help other people reach their fullest potential, by offering a helping hand or smile. I serve the people around me. I am actively involved in my Ward, teaching the teenage girls and helping assist in Sunday School for the adults. I help to prepare Girls Camp events and any Youth activities.
