Hi I'm Reena

Hi! I am Reena, and I become a Mormon when I am 14, I love the Gospel so much. It change a lot in me.I love being a Mormon

About Me

I am living at Zone 2-1, Zinnia St.,Brgy. Abar 1st San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines with a large Family, we are 6 sibling in the Family, we are 8 all in all. I am a college student studying at the Science City of Munoz, Central Luzon State University, taking the course of being a Teacher. I serve my short term mission at the length of one and a half month at San Vicente Tarlac Ward 3( Philippines). I was glad to serve the Lord even in the shortest time , but I am more glad to serve Him in a Full Time. I love playing piano, writing letters and doing some handicrafts, I also draw and sketch those things I see beautiful. For now I am still praying to have the opportunity to serve a full time mission, because my parents don't want me to go until I did not finish my study as well as my auntie who provided me everything just for me to finish my studies( like tuition and allowance). For now I and my younger Sister are the only member of the Church, but we continue to be a good example for them to realize how the gospel and the teachings of the church changed us. That is for now. Thank you

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon? This must be a good question for me, because at the first place I was only 14 years old when the missionary came to our home to teach us. Actually the first person that the missionary teach is my auntie, but my auntie refer us that's why the missionary start to teach us. One thing that helps me to become a member and to be baptize really is those youth who become my friends, and later on after I was baptized I am starting to know what really the Church is and Why it differs a lot from others? I know that I am still active in the Church because I gain testimony that it is true, I know that it is true because I search by reading the Book of Mormon and pray for it just what the Prophet Joseph Smith did when He seek for truth, even though I really don't understand the gospel fully before and after my baptism, the important thing is that I gain testimony of it today. The conversion I have is not yet done, because I believe that we are still in the process, because our learning process is continuous. For now my whole Family is not yet member of the Church, but despite of that, I still continue to become part of the Church because the gospel brings a lot of changed in me and in my ways and perception. Whatever trials that will come to me, I know I can overcome by means of the Lord's help. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, it is really the word of God, that's why I know also of a surety that Joseph Smith is a prophet of restoration and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true because it teaches the pure and plain doctrine of Christ and because I pray for it and the Holy Ghost testify to me its truthfulness. I know that this things are true in the sacred name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

For now(2015) I am called to become a Family History consultant who assist the people to work for their diseased ancestors and to help them perform the ordinances available for those ancestors they will find. Family History helps the people to make and keep sacred ordinances for those Family members who are not able to receive the Gospel when they lived here on earth. The ordinances perform binds the Family throughout eternity. I am also part of Young women organization as a first counselor, I assist those young women and help them better understand the Gospel and their roles in the community and in the Future. I also teach Seminary , which help the youth of today and better know the stories and principles that the scriptures taught to us and help them to become a better Missionary someday.
