Hi I'm Greg

I grew up in Northern California and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from high school. My hobbies are snow boarding and swimming.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have taught me and my brothers and sister about God and the purpose of life since we were little kids. As a kid, I learned stories from the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I gained a testiomony that by following God's commmandments we are blessed. Now that I am getting older and having more life experiences, I see that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true chuch on the earth today. I have a testimony that God lives and loves us and that he created all of us and we are his children. God created a plan for us that after this stage of life we might be with him. That is possible only through Jesus Christ who is his begotten son and provided the atonement for every soul. I believe that Joseph Smith restored Christ's church by the authority of God. He saw God and his son Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is also the word of God for it testifies of Christ. You may know that it is true by the Holy Ghost, for it will always testify what is true. The prophets and apostles since Joseph Smith have that authority from God. They are able to tell the world what we need to do to follow the word of God. I have gained my testimony through prayer--that is how we can communicate to God. I have read my scriptures and have been given answers to my questions and have had a confirmation through the Holy Ghost. I encourgage everyone to be obedient to Christ's teachings and not to doubt, but to ask God to build his/her faith and to choose the right. We have trials to make us better, and God willl not give us more than we can handle. God is able to help us if we invite him into our lives and he is able to help us more than what we could do for ourselves.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and participate in the classes. I am preparing to serve a full-time mission in New York. I read my scriptures and pray daily. I also help serve in my community with other members of my church.
