Hi I'm Ester

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I recently graduated from college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love gardening, reading, and just graduated from college.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Jesus Christ's true Church. I know that the atonement of Jesus Christ has healing power. I know that it has the power to heal broken hearts and shattered minds. I know that it can bring families that have been torn apart back together again if not in this life then in the one to come. I know that even though there are people that I have loved on this Earth that have passed away that I don't have to be sad. I'll see them again. I like to imagine, if there gardens in Heaven, that I can once again have the opportunity to sit by my grandpas side and pick radishes out of a beautiful garden. That I can meet his parents that I have heard so much about but whom I never got the chance to meet or my other ancestors for whom even their names I so badly want to know. I know that the commandments, the word of wisdom, and other counsels given by prophets and apostles are there to protect and help us. That the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and the conference talks are places to turn for comfort, guidance, and maybe even sometimes seemingly harsh but important reminders to keep your eyes and heart focused on what's truly important. I know President Monson is a prophet of God. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that Nephi and all the other prophets mentioned in the Book of Mormon are prophets of God. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us. That while they let us make our own choices, which can sometimes lead to despair, that they more than anyone else want us to be happy. They want us to have all the knowledge they have and be able to, if we want to, spend all of eternity with them and the ones we love.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly and visit frequently with a few of the people in the ward. I try to be a good friend to the people I visit and to those in my neighborhood.
