Hi I'm Emma

Im preparing to serve a mission. I love to serve. Im a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, Im Emma! Im currently preparing to serve a mission in Manchester, England. I have a deep love of travelling overseas to help children in developing countries. I absolutely love sharing a piece of who I am through blogging and photography!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and because of this I have always had the Gospel in my life..however, there came a time when I had to choose to actively build my own testimony and choose to personally follow Gods plan. I'd grown up with my parents example but I had to choose for myself. The choice was simple. Yes. I want to follow Gods plan for me! I love being a Mormon, I love God, I love his Son Jesus Christ and I love being a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints!

How I live my faith

Everything I do stems from my faith in my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I choose to live my faith in every aspect of my life. In the clothes I wear, in the way I speak, in the choices I make, everything stems from my love towards my Saviour. For me, I feel closest to my Saviour when I am serving his children. The feeling of joy I get from serving those around me brings me so much happiness! It's not always easy to serve others and there have been times in my life when I have turned a blind eye to an opportunity to serve but as I have grown up and experienced more in my life I have come to see the blessings that come from following those prompting to serve, even in the little ways. I live my faith every time I choose to shop for modest clothes despite how hard it can be, I live my faith when I explain to my manager that I can't work on Sundays, I live my faith when I follow Gods promptings to give someone a hug or simply pray for a friend, I try to live my faith every day and while I am far from perfect I know that its the little things that count.
