Hi I'm Ethan

I'm a Canada-Asian living in Texas. My friends call me the CanAsian and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work as an assistant preschool teacher for a local PreK and afterschool program. Teaching little children can be difficult but I love going home at the end of the day knowing that I got to run around with some kids and brighten their day. I was a huge band nerd in High school as well. I played Bass Clarinet and marched with a competitive marching band all throughout. I play a bit of Jazz Bass as well and played in the school's jazz band.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in with church as a strong center of my life. I was raised as a Methodist and have strong ties to methodists still. I met a girl when I entered High School and started taking the Missionary Discussions after we started dating. Right before we went to college I was baptized and my life has changed ever since. I'm a Mormon because I believe that through faith we can rely on our Heavenly Father to help those around us; comforting those who need comfort and strengthening those who need it. I'm a Mormon because I know that I can help those around me.

How I live my faith

I haven't been a member very long, only about a year and a bit. I work in the church not through a set job but rather by striving to do whatever needs done whenever it needs done. My goal is to work harder and more diligently than I ever would have imagined I could. Being upbeat and positive helps to lighten others loads and help share the light of Christ. Through a positive out look and the constant desire to serve I am able to strengthen my faith in Jesus Christ.
