Hi I'm Devin

I have lived in Utah, Florida and Minnesota. I am going on a mission to Brazil. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy both academics and athletics. I love to learn; my favorite subjects are math and science. I plan to major in either mathematics, statistics or both in college. In high school, I played soccer for two years, ran cross country for one, and was on the Varsity Swim team for all four years of high school. I was the captain of our swim team my senior year. I was also the captain of Math Team, Knowledge Bowl, and I was our school's National Honor Society President. I love watching and playing sports, especially watching baseball and football, and playing soccer and ultimate frisbee.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I grew up in the church, and was taught the gospel by my parents. As I grew older, I developed my own testimony of the Book of Mormon and of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ died for us and atoned for our sins, and that because of Him, all of us can repent of our sins and return to live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that we are lead today by Prophets and Apostles who hold the Priesthood keys, which allow the work to go forward. My testimony is important to me because it is what I believe, and I am excited to share it with others on my mission!

How I live my faith

I was the second counselor in the Stake Sunday School Presidency, so I went around to different church meetings and taught a Sunday School lesson for each branch/ward conference. Before turning 18, I was very active in the young men's program and scouting. I will be living my faith for the next two years by serving a full-time mission.
