Hi I'm Brooke

I grew up in Utah, USA. I was a college student, and now I'm a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I love to make and be with friends, and I enjoy being with my family. I went to college for two semesters, and I will be serving an LDS mission. I love music, I enjoy sleep, and I like to cook.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the peace that this church brings to its members. I suffer from ADD and anxiety, and the unknown scares me. However, I have been able to find a calm place for me in this church; and through its teachings and beliefs, I have come to accept that it's okay to not know everything in its fullest. I learned that God has his timing, and with His help, I can conquer anything physical or emotional. I now know it's okay to have faults and to not be perfect. As long as I strive to do my best in everything I do, God will make up for what I fall short in, and I know He can help others become better in everything they do.

How I live my faith

In everything I do, I choose to do what I have learned what is right in my beliefs. My decisions on what I do with my time and my plans are based on my religion and what I believe. I visit members of my church and community to share thoughts or messages, or even to be a friend.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

God is our loving Heavenly Father, and we are His children. He knows each and every one of us. He created us in His image and gave us a body like His (but perfected and immortal) because He loves us. Also, because He loves us, He has a plan to help us be happy and to return to His presence after we die. Show more Show less
