Hi I'm Evan

I grew up in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Serving on the Navajo Reservation. Looking for my nizhoni dine :)

About Me

Currently serving in the Tuba City, Arizona area within the Farmington, New Mexico Mission. Completed 2 semesters at BYUi. I love fitness & health.

Why I am a Mormon

I came from a background of bad choices and even though I was raised in the church it was until I was 18 that I truly became converted. Because of honoring my mother and my father as well as "trying" this gospel out (church attendance, reading, prayer, etc.) I finally gained my testimony.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by dedicating my time to the Lord. If I can help out just one person then this is all worth it.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Mormon's don't drink coffee, tea or alcohol because they are simply harmful to our bodies. Not only do we abstain from these drinks but we do not partake of tobacco or illegal substances (drugs). When we were born our Heavenly Father blessed us with the gift of our body as well as the ability to choose. When we consume these substances we harm that gift given to us by God as well as we can become addicted which restricts our ability to choose. The purpose of life is to find peace and happiness, not to be harmed, addicted and weighed down by the burden of these substances. As we abstain from from these substances we will find a greater sense of freedom and self-control in our lives. We have also been commanded to live a proper healthy lifestyle which means exactly what it sounds like. As we eat healthy and get proper exercise we show our Heavenly Father that we are thankful for the gift of our bodies and that we choose to follow His plan. Show more Show less
