Hi I'm Jesica

I'm from Utah. My family owns a toy store. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read and write, especially fantasy and science fiction. I find superheroes very cool, and how/why they were created interesting. I love to explore the ideas and thoughts around many different things, and figuring out why things were created, and what influenced the decisions that created them. I am going to college now, studying business and history. I love my family, and all my friends, and don't know what I would do without them.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it makes me be a better person. My parents encouraged me to explore everything in my life, and to ask questions and to always be learning throughout my life. Within this, they encouraged me to learn and grow my faith in The Gospel, and it has changed my life for the better. I feel that the Gospel of Jesus Christ helps me to be the person I want to be, and the person that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ would like me to be. The belief that my family doesn't end after this life, and that the relationships that I have grown and nurtured on this earth can continue to grow after this life makes me enormously happy. The teachings of this church, to love and serve one another, just make sense to me as words and teachings of God. The fact that we have a living prophet, who gives us inspired council is a beautiful gift. I love the feelings of love and peace I get every time I attend my church meetings, or visit an LDS temple.

How I live my faith

I visit women in my ward every month as part of my visiting teaching. When I was younger I held positions of leadership within my youth groups, and went to group activities every week. Now I still study the scriptures daily, and discuss the gospel principles in family study. I attend my church meetings every Sunday, and try hard to live as my Father in Heaven would like me to.
