Hi I'm Lacey

I grew up in Lehi, Utah. I play the violin. I like to golf and eat freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and I find joy in playing the violin, going to school, and spending time with my family. I just finished my freshman year of college studying to become a nurse. I've had amazing opportunities in my life through my musical talents and aspirations such as playing with the Piano Guys, David Archuletta, Alex Boye, and so many more. However, I find the most joy in my life through the small and simple things. My family is the most important to me and I am the most happy when I am able to spend time with my two little nephews and niece. I like to watch Superhero movies with my brothers and "chickflicks" with my sisters. I also enjoy reading! My favorite book to read on a rainy afternoon is Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre. I'm a nerd when it comes to books written by Jane Austen or any English Romance author of that time period.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the peace that this gospel brings to my life. There is no other feeling like it and I am grateful for its knowledge and guidance. I have lived without the gospel in a number of ways, and life without the gospel of Jesus Christ is lonely and without purpose. He is the light and life of the world! How great is that?! I'm grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ and for his atoning sacrifice in my behalf. I know that through him we can return to our Father in Heaven, but only through his Atonement. He overcame death by the power of resurrection and he overcame sin by suffering for everyone's sins, even those who rejected him when he was on the cross. I owe it to my Savior to be a righteous and committed member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The very least I can do for Him is to be an obedient disciple and follow His commandments after ALL that He has done for me. This is why I am a Mormon and proud to represent the Lord, Jesus Christ. I testify that the Book of Mormon is the truest of all the books on the Earth and I have a testimony of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is now known today as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that Joseph Smith restored this gospel and translated the Book of Mormon which stands as another testament of Jesus Christ. I cannot deny these things for I have felt that they are true and they have been testified to me by the power of the Holy Ghost. I love my Savior and my Father in Heaven with every ounce of my soul. I am a Mormon. I live it. I love it. And now I will teach it.

How I live my faith

I proudly live as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and cherish it as a blessing in my life. Currently, I have the opportunity to serve as a Ward Missionary, teaching others about the gospel of Jesus Christ and inviting others to come unto him. I find great joy in helping others feel the spirit of the Savior, especially those who have forgotten the peace that He brings. In addition to this, I also have the chance to visit many different people in my ward and serve them in whatever ways I can. We talk about the gospel or merely visit them to make sure they are doing well and feeling included in our weekly ward activities and services. In doing these things, I am further preparing to serve a full-time mission in Washington and look forward to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ in that region.
