Hi I'm Curt

I have been married to my wife Nancy for 35 years. We have 4 daughters and 4 grandchildren. I am a high school administrator.

About Me

My wife and I have 4 daughters and 4 grandchildren. We are blessed to be able to spend time with them as their young families grow up. We are big Utah State University fans and love to attend the local ball games. I work at the nearby high school so that keeps me busy along with family and church activities. My wife works at U.S.U. and things never seem to slow down around here. Life is good - we enjoy being active and wish all of our family members lived closer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know it's teachings are true. I know my Savior died for me and this gives me hope for eternal progression even though I am far from perfect. Knowing where I came from before this life, what this life is all about, and what happens after death gives me comfort and direction. Many things in this world seem unfair but through my study of the plan of salvation, I am able to make sense of it all. The peace I feel as I strive to live like I have been commanded to is like nothing else I have experienced. I don't understand everything but I do know our Heavenly Father wants us to be happy and successful. I am very thankful for this knowledge and the plan that God has for all of us.

How I live my faith

My wife currently is a Sunday School instructor ( gospel doctrine) and I have the opportunity to work with university students in a U.S.U. married organization. We both wish we could do a better job in our church callings but this will hopefully happen as we gain more experience. We feel blessed to have the gospel in our lives as we struggle with the day to day challenges or everyday life. I am not sure where I would be without the church. The direction and guidance that I feel helps me to deal with problems and I feel grounded due to the fact that I know what the purpose of my life is.
