Hi I'm Ken

There's nothing like a breath of fresh, clean air! I'm grateful for all that the ones I love do for me. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Right now, I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I've never grown more from an experience! At home before serving I loved to mountain bike, climb, snowboard, camp, fish, and spend time with the ones I love. I feel the Spirit and clear my mind while I play guitar; creating is a good way to have something in common with my Father in heaven and understand how He might think.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Savior, Jesus Christ, and my life is beautiful because of His forgiveness and healing influence. I know that the Atonement is not only something that relieves us of the guilt of sin but that it also illuminates the path, one step at a time, to new perspectives, brilliant ideas, and fresh starts. Because of God, there's hope for all broken things!

How I live my faith

In October of 2015, I was diagnosed with cancer. An ultrasound revealed a large tumor the size of a pee-wee football attached to my colon and brushing up against my stomach, intestine, and pancreas. I would need to return home from my mission to be treated over the course of what have become some of the most interesting two months of life to date! What can you do, I trusted in God and prayed throughout, and I could feel His love. I ask Him to help me make the next step often, and I feel His love still. He's since blessed me to be able to return to my mission. I'm serving in Oklahoma, and I'm able to relate better with others for the experience!
