Hi I'm Kel

I am a Mormon in Utah, USA. I love to go fishing with my wife all over the Western USA. We love to meet new people.

About Me

I am retired now so I spend time fishing. I love to relax on my boat and troll for bigger fish. I like watching sporting events as I played sports when I was younger. I worked as a dept. manager for a large retail store after college. Then I spent almost 30 years giving Educational Seminars around the world. I loved teaching and helping people realize their potential and providing for their Families. My wife and I have 8 children, all girls except for three boys. We have 18 Grand children and love to have them around. As a Mormon we learn, Where we came from, Why we are here and Where we are going after this life. My wife and I are now preparing to leave on a Mission for the Mormon Church to serve people in the Eastern USA. We are really excited to talk with people about My Best Friend, and Savior, Jesus Christ. I love to teach and serve where I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon. I am so Grateful for the knowlege that God lives and that His Son, Jesus Christ lives and knows and loves me. That knowlege, that I am a Child of God gives me the hope to make it through the hardest times in my life. I am Grateful to be a Mormon and know that we have a Prophet to lead and guide us in these troubled times. That the Prophet receives revelation from our Father in Heaven to help us know how to be happy in our life. I am Grateful as a Mormon to have the Gift of the Holy Ghost to help me make the best decisions in life and to comfort me in hard times and to give me additional understanding of God's Scriptures and plan. As a Mormon I have been taught and know that their is life after death and that we can continue to live as Families and live in the presence of our Father and Jesus the Christ. I am a Mormon because of the Truth that has been revealed in our day for our benifit. As Mormons we meet together each Sunday to Partake of the Sacrament and to renew our covenants that we made with our Savior at Baptism. This lets us remember always what Christ has done and continues to do for us daily. Being a Mormon has made me Whole and knowing that I can ask a loving Father in Heaven about any understanding or help I need. Wow I love all that being a Mormon gives me and my family. Especially the confidence it gives me in My Savior.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve in a lot of different callings in the Church. I have been able to organize social events and service projects for our congregation. I have had the opportunity to teach children, young adults and the Gospel Doctrine class to the Adults. I love teaching because my students teach me so much. I've had the opportunity to go into the homes of the members of our congregation to teach about our Savior Jesus Christ as a Home Teacher. I have a firm testimony that Christ is our Savior and Redeemer and that he has, through his Atonement, taken upon Himself our sins and cares. He knows me and you and loves us. I have been able to work in the Scouting Program and watch young boys grow into young men. As a Mormon we also do small and large service projects. We have done everything, from painting and cleanup to cleaning out the pig stalls at the farm. The church has helped me to realize that we are all son's and daughters of a loving Heavenly Father and that he wants us to be happy. There is no better way to be happy than to serve someone in need.
