Hi I'm Esmeralda Tafua

Hi! I'm originally from American Samoa but I now reside in Austin, TX. I am a proud Mormon and I know it, I live it and I love it!

About Me

Hi I'm Esmeralda! I graduated high school in 2014 and I wanted to serve a mission after school. Serving a mission is something I have always wanted to do when I was 12 years old and it will be a dream come true once I receive my calling! I was born in the church and my mother was and still is a strong member and she was able to convert my father into the church. My family is everything to me and I love them very much! My Heavenly Father is my first priority and I put Him first in everything I do! I love reading scriptures and learning new things everyday. Volleyball is my favorite sport and mathematics is my strength in school. All my life, I basically offer myself to serve those around me because I believe that helping others will bring something good in my life! I put other peoples needs first and then I think about myself after.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for the rest of my life because this church has brought a far greater blessing than anyone or anything can ever offer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply by living the gospel. Like I said before, I was born in the church and I grew up in a family that has a heart full of love for the gospel and especially for the God that we serve. I am currently the secretary of a group of sisters in our and I love it so much. It helped me learn from my sisters in the ward and also have a more greater understanding of how to love those that need love and support. I have grown to love each sister in my ward and to willingly help those that are in need and comfort those that stand in need of comfort.
