Hi I'm Tony Akira

I grew up in Hyderabad. I'm an Engineer,Photographer,Base guitarist,and yes..... I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Hyderabad and currently am supporting my family by working as a Programmer analyst here in Hyderabad. I'm preparing to serve a mission for the church.I'm the only son. For the most part my life seems very easy to the outsider but being the only child is not always easy

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this is the only Christian religion that has all the aspects of Christ's church when he was on the earth. It brings joy into any life whether in times of trial or times that seem relatively easy.

How I live my faith

Where to start? I suppose I'll just start writing and hopefully something will come to me. I think that, to me, the most important aspect of the Gospel is that of unity. That's what I prefer to focus on when I think about going to church or "living my faith." Sure, we can spend all the time we want studying the scriptures or or the words of prophets (both of which are very important to do), but how meaningful is it unless we share the knowledge and understanding we gain with those around us? One of the main reasons Heavenly Father sent us here is so that we could achieve salvation through pursuing righteousness with our brothers and sisters on this earth. Having said that, I am now living my faith by preparing to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. By the time many will read this I will already be serving. I will be serving for two years. It's going to be hot and I'm going to be sweaty. I will be serving both members of the church and those who are not members. We serve both those who are members and those who are not because regardless of actual church membership, we are all brothers and sisters in God. We were all sent here and our Father wants us to return to Him.
