Hi I'm Nephi

I'm serving a mission in Indiana, I love to run and exercise, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 5 in my family. I have an older brother and an older sister, both of them served full-time missions for the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My sister served in Mississippi and my brother served in Indiana. I will head out soon to serve a mission in Indiana as well. I love to exercise and be healthy. I competed competitively in track and cross country in High School. I graduated in 2015 and since then I have continued to enjoy my passion of fitness. After running in High School I wanted to do something different for a change so I started doing weight lifting . I enjoy all areas of health and hope to some day share that joy with others and promote a healthy lifestyle as a future job/career possibility.

Why I am a Mormon

My family is built on the principles of the gospel. I have awesome parents that have taught me have been great examples to me. They also taught me self-reliance, and the importance of seeking and building my own testimony of the gospel. I know that the LDS church is true, because I have read the scriptures, and prayed, and strive to act upon the principles that I have learned. My prayers have been answered and the holy ghost has testified to me that it is true. I will continue to do my best to build my testimony and act on what I know, because this is what God wants me to do, and this is how I can truly become more like Christ. My life has been so blessed because of the gospel, and I cannot wait to share this peace and joy I have felt with the people of Indiana.

How I live my faith

On September 9th I will report to the MTC to prepare me to serve a full-time mission in Indiana. I am very excited to serve a mission. I am thankful for all of the opportunities I have had to serve as or in quorum presidencies, seminary council, home teacher, to help prepare me to be a missionary. Members of the LDS church receive many opportunities to serve and help uplift others. I love that the Lord allows imperfect people such as me fulfill his work, so that we can learn and grow and prepare to return to him again.
