Hi I'm Tyler

I live in Idaho. I just got my mission call. I enjoy polevaulting. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an adventurous person. I like to mountain bike, rock climb( mostly bouldering), downhill longboard, and just about anything else that gets my adrenaline pumping. I just graduated but I polevaulted for the track and field and played defensive back for the football team. I just got my mission call to serve in the Vanuatu port Vila mission in the New Caledonia Mission region.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have raised us in the gospel but as we get older they tell us that it is our choice to continue in the gospel. The gospel has to be chosen and lived willingly so I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if all the knowledge I had received my whole life was true and as I prayed I got an undeniable feeling and I know without a doubt that this church is true and I won't leave this church because it is such a blessing in my life. I love my savior and I love this gospel. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today who receives revelation for the church and leads us through these latter days. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel to the earth in these latter days. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ who payed the ultimate sacrifice for my sins. I know he knows me and knows what I am feeling constantly.

How I live my faith

I was a first assistant to the bishop in my priesthood quorum as well as several leadership positions. I try to be an example in my everyday life with people I come into contact with. I am living my faith also by serving a mission for two years.

What is the priesthood?

Tyler
The priesthood is the power and authority to act in the name of our savior. It is a power that can only be used to bless and serve other people. Show more Show less
