Hi I'm Dallin

I'm from Utah, I love to play and create music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old and I'm about to head out to serve a mission in Uganda. I very much enjoy music, particularly marching music as well as wind ensemble. I play the trombone as my main instrument but I also have tried my hand at euphonium and piano. Throughout high school I was a member of the band program. I played in our wind ensemble, jazz ensemble, and marching band. I respect all music and many other arts, including drawing, which has become one of my favorite hobbies.

Why I am a Mormon

We often use the term "gospel" in this church to describe the message that we have to share. The meaning of gospel is actually good news. Truly, the gospel of Jesus Christ is good news. Although I grew up in the church, I still was converted to this "gospel." I know without a doubt that this church is the church that Christ established on the earth two millennia ago. The lesson I have learned and the experiences I've had as a result of my membership in this church have brought me joy beyond compare. This gospel is gospel of peace, hope, and love. I testify that the mormon church's teachings are true, and that any person can find peace in this chaotic world by heeding to the counsel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As previously mentioned, I will soon leave my comfortable home and to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been assigned to labor in the Uganda, Kampala mission. Soon, I will be serving and sharing the restored gospel with the people of north-eastern Africa. For two years, my days will be spent doing service and humanitarian work for less fortunate individuals, as well as teaching them about Jesus Christ, a message which I hold dear to my heart.
