Hi I'm Kiersten

I am a musician. I love the mountains. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 6 kids and I love it! I went to college for a year and was accepted into the choral music education program. I love to play the piano and sing. I also play the violin, marimba and organ. I participated in marching band in high school! That is one of the hardest yet most rewarding things I've done.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I'm happier when I live the gospel. It's as simple as that. I have always been a member but didn't really ever know for myself it was true until a couple years ago. After making some choices that were not right, I turned to god. I read the scriptures with a greater desire to learn and be comforted and I prayed harder than I ever have before. Through my efforts to come to Christ, I came to know for myself that Christ lives and he loves each of His children. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and I feel closer to God by reading it than by any other book. This is why I have continued to be a Mormon through my young adult years. And this is why I'm going forth to share with others that Christ loves them and invite them to come unto Him like I have. For, I know if they do, they will find the greatest happiness and peace they have ever felt.

How I live my faith

I played the organ in church and taught the women's class while I was in college. I recently was called to serve a mission for our church. I will be in Ohio for 18 months sharing the gospel. I'm excited to share my testimony and serve the Lord full-time!
