Hi I'm Elder Peterson

I´m Elder Peterson, and I´m currently serving in the Mission Mexico Aguascalientes, speaking Spanish!

About Me

I am currently serving here in the México Aguascalientes mission! I´ve learned Spanish, and I am loving my mission because we are able to serve the people. I love teaching about Christ and His Atonement along with his infinite love that he has for each one of us. I love the Book of Mormon, and I am so thankful for Joseph Smith! Here in this mission, we walk everywhere. Sometimes we take the bus, and sometimes we take taxi, but we walk everywhere. The church is getting stronger here in Mexico, and I love watching it grow. I go home in November, 2017, and I will be studying in BYU-Idaho. I ran track in High School, and I love taking pictures of nature. I plan to study App Programming and photography, and I am super excited to go to the temple in Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been Mormon my entire life which is a HUGE blessing to me, because I am not sure if I would have converted to the LDS church if I weren't already LDS. (LDS is the other name for the Mormon church) I love this church and I am so glad I am apart of it. I don't just believe, I KNOW that this church is true. Joseph Smith didn't make up the Book of Mormon, he translated it with the help of the Lord. I know the Lord guides us though personal revelation and modern prophets who love and care about us.

How I live my faith

Right now I live my faith by serving a mission. I´ve given up a lot of things to be a missionary, and I have to be sure that what I am teaching is true. I know that it is true, because I have asked God many times, and each time I have recieved a clear answer and assurance that it is. Each day, I wake up at 6:30 to exercise and get ready for the day. At 8:00, I start studying the scriptures until 11:00, when we leave to start teaching and contacting. Each day we are talking with the Mexican people, and inviting them to come unto Christ. That´s how I live my faith right now.
