Hi I'm Tyler

Elder, Aggie, Viking, Bass trombonist, Taco Amigo, Friend, Son, Brother. Oh... and I'm a Mormon! (:

About Me

I am serving a mission in the Belgium/Netherlands mission. I am so excited to go! When I get home I will be attending Utah State. My hobbies include lacrosse, piano, food, work, and bass trombone. I am an Eagle Scout and I have received the Denali Award. I work at a little store called Taco Amigo, that is owned by my stake patriarch. I love working there and I'm sad to leave.

Why I am a Mormon

My father was a convert, and I was born into this church, but as I have become older I have come to know for myself that it is true. Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us and they want us to be happy. The path to happiness is narrow and strait, and sometimes it's hard to find, but the reward at the end far outweighs the struggle to find it. In the sacred name of our savior, and brother, even Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, though not always to my home ward. My family and I go to visitor's wards when we are traveling. Soon I will be leaving to serve my mission. I will be proclaiming the gospel in Belgium and the Netherlands, and I am so excited to finally go and serve the Lord.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Tyler
Mormons are normal people. We have different rules compared to most, but from the outside we're not much different. We read and study the scriptures. We pray. We go to church on Sunday. Twice a year we get to hear from our beloved prophet and the apostles. I never knew a Mormon that didn't love to have a great time. We date, we party, we enjoy each other's company. We find the most joy in serving others and in serving our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
