Hi I'm Johnathon Stock

I grew up in Utah. I've done ballroom for six years. I'm on a mission in Fiji and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an 18 year old kid from Sandy Utah. I was born in Logan and have lived here in Sandy for the last 10 years. I grew up learning how to play the piano and singing in choirs all over the place. I sung in the International Children's Choir for a couple years. I learned trumpet as well later. I also competed in the National History Fair going to Nationals five times before I was finished. I started into ballroom dancing when I was 12 years old and continued through high school. I was the president of Alta's ballroom team this last year. I also competed in FIRST robotics competitions the last two years I was there. I'm on a mission serving in Fiji, after which I will go up to Utah State on scholarship in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I was baptized is simply because my parents were members and I decided to be in at that point. The reason I'm out here serving him is because of the truth that's been made manifest to me by the Holy Ghost. I believe in this gospel with all of my heart and it's for that reason that I'm out here serving him.

How I live my faith

For me I've never found that I wanted to be the loudest voice in the room about religion, but it was always in being simply faithful in everything I do that I wanted to show my faith. The more trials that I've had the stronger I've found my faith after. In preparing for a mission I've started to really understand how individual the care Heavenly Father gives us is. Something I'm sure I'll learn more deeply as I go out and serve.
