Hi I'm Sydney

I was born and raised in Idaho. Following my dreams to work in the medical field. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student working hard to live my dream job of working in the medical field. When I'm not at school I am always doing something with family or friends. I love the outdoors and grew up in the country. I love to fish, swim, and go camping. I love all things artsy. I love to dance, sing, and play the piano. I love my family with all my heart and I spend as much time with them as possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of this church. I have always felt this gospel was special and it always made sense in my head and in my heart. I truly know this is the true and the only correct church, but I didn't know until I prayed and asked for myself. A few years ago I was challenged to read the Book of Mormon with some of the youth in my ward. I read every morning just a few chapters. I also was studying it in my seminary class during school. The more I started to read and truly study it, I could recognize the spirit it brought in my life. My day would go better. Hard problems seemed easier to handle. I was truly happier. When I got to the book of Moroni in chapter 10 verse 4, Moroni tells us to pray and ask God if what we've read in the Book of Mormon is true. He asks us to pray with faith in Jesus Christ, with real intent, and with a sincere heart. I did that and I promise you that the Book of Mormon is true. Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are real and I testify they hear and will always answer your prayers. Jesus Christ died for us. He did it so we could over come death, sorrow, pain, illness, and sin. He lives. God lives. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet who restored this gospel and its teachings through the priesthood power. Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of God who leads and guides us today. I am a Mormon because I believe these things are true. Living the gospel of Jesus christ will bring you true joy.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday in my ward, and throughout my the week I study the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I also go to Institute every week to learn more about the scriptures. I serve in my church wherever is needed. I love God and Jesus Christ and testify of them in how I live my life.
