Hi I'm Keja

I'm a cancer survivor. I'm serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an only child of divorced parents, a childhood cancer survivor, and I have lived in various states all across the USA. My life has not been easy, but with my Heavenly Father's help I have made it through and have become so much more than I was. I love the gospel, photography, writing, jigsaw puzzles, food, mini-adventures, and movies/TV. I am going to be sharing what I love and know to be true as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this gospel is true. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth by Joseph Smith and that there is currently a living prophet who guides us according to our Heavenly Father's will. I know that through Christ's atonement we can be forgiven of our sins and return to live with our Heavenly Father. We can be healed from every wrong we've done and that has been done to us. We can find true and everlasting happiness through this gospel. Our Heavenly Father loves us more than we could ever imagine and guides us through our day-to-day life as we do His will, keep His commandments, and listen. We can pray to Him whenever and wherever we are and He will hear and answer our prayers. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it truly is another testament of Jesus Christ. As we read the scriptures, we will be blessed immensely and we will be spiritually strengthened as well as guided in our lives. I love this gospel with all of my heart and I am so blessed to have these truths in my life and to have the opportunity to share them with others. I know that as long as we stay true to our Heavenly Father and His gospel, we can face anything that comes our way trusting that God will succor us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly trying to be better. This not only includes my day-to-day life, but my callings in church. I have looked after the needs of the sisters in my church through coordinating visiting teaching and through leadership. A major part of this is making sure all of the sisters are cared for and trying to help them improve. I also have had the opportunity to teach these sisters various times. Through my callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have learned to love the sisters and have grown immensely as I have helped them to do the same. I have been blessed as I learn and grow in my callings at church. I have learned that Christ loves His children very much. We all have infinite worth and something to give that no one else can.
