Hi I'm Paul Baxter

Born of a goodly mother who love the lord. I am Marshallese/Scottish, I speak Marshallese, English,Spanish, I'm a missionary in OR

About Me

Born and raise at the Marshall Islands, moved to North Carolina, and then to Oregon Salem to be a Spanish speaking missionary at the Oregon Salem Mission (OSM). Dancing is one of the things that I enjoy doing, so does Basketball, Baseball, and Volleyball. oh yeah, cant forget this one, I am half white.

Why I am a Mormon

growing up at the Marshall Islands and seeing a lot of different churches made me want to know which church is true, I attended many different churches to find the truth but I never did, I found bits and peaces but never the fullness of the truth. I never grew up in the lds faith even tho my parents are both members, while they attend the lds meetings at the Marshall Islands I was attending other church meetings. Even tho I was not a member of the church at the Marshall Islands I still defended it when someone say that Mormons pray to Joseph Smith and they don't believe in the Bible. so when I moved to North Carolina I started attending the lds meeting with my aunt, then I started the taking the missionary discussions and it all made sense, everything that they taught me, Prophet, apostles and so forth. Long story short, I got baptized at the age of 13 and my searching for the truth ended. I found it.

How I live my faith

I was never really big on talking about my faith with others, i guess you could say that I was afraid of being judge, but now that I've come to know of my love for Jesus Christ and how much I am grateful for what he did for me I just want to share it with others, I love to share scriptures with those that i come in contact with, my favorite one to share is 3 Nephi 19:25. Being a missionary is one way that I live my Faith.
