Hi I'm Drew Schneider

I am from Snowflake Arizona, I am currently serving a full-time mission in Billings, MT, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the only boy in my family. I have two older sisters and one younger sister. I enjoy sports and the outdoors. I grew up in a small town that is mostly LDS. I grew up with parents and family that were a great example to me and helped me grow up to become who I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because I know its true. I believe in the plan of salvation and happiness. I want to have my own family to raise in the church and to be able to receive the blessings that come with it. I also want others to have that knowledge in their life so that they can find the happiness that comes with following this gospel.

How I live my faith

Daily scripture study and prayer is the foundation of my day and testimony. Consistence in keeping the commandments of the lord is the easiest way to stay on track. Ive learned that loving others is the best way to get love in return. Selflessness and a humble attitude is much more rewarding than to be prideful and boastful. I find myself the happiest when I think of everything I've been given rather than all the things going wrong in the world. You can never go wrong with keeping a mind of gratitude, because there is so much more to be thankful for than not. The more I keep the spirit with me as a companion the more effective I am as a representative of the Lord. The most important thing I've learned is too keep the spirit with me. Every time I feel the spirit its a reminder of truth and a strengthening of testimony. Because in this day and age there is so many things that will bring you down, but the spirit will always point to Christ and be a light in your life.

What is the priesthood?

Drew Schneider
The Priesthood is the authority to act in Gods name. It is used to perform essential saving ordinances in the church (like baptism). As well as saving ordinances, the Priesthood allows you to give blessings to the sick or to those in need. The Priesthood is a power that comes only through righteousness and faith and is only used for good. Those who hold the Priesthood power have an obligation to use it when it is needed and to be a leader to those around them. Show more Show less
