Hi I'm Logan

I grew up in southern California, graduated from BYU and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband to my beautiful and amazing wife and new father. I love basketball, football and baseball and am a HUGE Redsox fan. I love the beach, running, cycling and, of course, the occasional frisbee. I'm a devout Christian (Mormon) and our family could not be more grateful for the blessings of the restored gospel and the peace and happiness the covenants found therein bring.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ and know this is His restored gospel established on the Earth today. I love the covenants and promises we make to our Heavenly Father and the peace, joy, happiness and protection they offer me every day of my life. I love so very much my family and want to be with them for time and eternity and CAN, through sacred covenants. There is no better way to live to feel joy, happiness and peace in this life.

How I live my faith

I just recently moved after graduating college. In Utah, I was able to work in our Elder's Quorum as both a secretary and counselor to help the men of our ward. For my last year in Utah, I was able to work with our Teacher's Quorum (ages 13-14). We participated in scouting events, young men/woman nights and activities every Wednesday and I was able to teach often lessons on the restored gospel to our youth on Sundays. I love also to home teach the families i've been assigned every month. We also love the temple and serving there.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Logan
I am most grateful for the infinite Atonement of Jesus Christ. Because of Christ's sacrifice I can live again with my Heavenly Father and His Son and my family for time and eternity. Christ's Atonement and His mercy satisfies the demands of justice. We all are imperfect beings living in a fallen world. Because we all sin and fall short, God sent His Son as a sacrifice for all humankind to pay the price for our sins so that through His grace, and our constant efforts through repentance, we could be forgiven of our shortcomings and live with Him again. We are LITERAL offspring of our Heavenly Father. Because of that, He wants us to receive all He has. There is no gift, privilege or blessing that He does not wish to bestow upon all his children either in this life or the world to come. Christ's grace is sufficient. We, as his brothers and sisters and followers, need only rely on that grace. We do this through keeping the commandments, loving one another, doing our best to emulate His life and constantly repenting of our mistakes. I am so grateful for Christ's Atonement. I am able to feel joy and peace in this life because of it. I can be strengthened every day by His enabling power and protected against the buffetings of the adversary. I can live again with my family and with the Father and His Son. There is no greater gift. Show more Show less
