Hi I'm Kelsey Beard

I'm a former college basketball player. Cheez-it's are my go to! West Coast is the Best Coast! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a convert to the Church and Currently the only member in my family. My Family means the world to me. I love dancing, meaningful lyrics, the sound of an acoustic guitar and the waves crashing against the rocks! Basketball is my Favorite sport but really any sporting event can be fun if you have the right group of people with you! I also love good ole Southern, Mexican, and Italian Food basically food in general haha I love to smile and have fun! The Gospel makes me happy and That is what is most important to me:)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I came to know that this church is true. I will be honest my conversion did not happen all at once. Is was a day by day, step by step process. But as I started to read the Book of Mormon, and pray I started to see a difference in my life. Whether it was something as small as I am a little happier this morning or I felt peace as I prayed. My eyes were beginning to open to the many blessings Heavenly Father was giving me. As I continued to read, pray and attend church I started to understand Heavenly Father plan for my life. I knew that he didn't want me to be lost any more but he had in fact sent many people my way to help. And he also gave me some very humbling experiences to guide me back to him. He is very aware of who I am and I know he is aware of who you are. I know that as you read the Book of Mormon you will be able to apply it to your life. I know that if you pray with a sincere heart that Heavenly Father will answer your prayers.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I know that I want to be with my Heavenly Father and everyday I try to make decisions that will help me reach that goal. I pray to Heavenly Father a lot for guidance in my life and know that he will answer my questioning heart. His answers are rarely like a flash of light and come more in a still small voice or a feeling of peace or comfort. I try to also live my faith by reading my scriptures daily and attending church on Sunday's. I'm Currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Mission(2015-2016)!
