Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was raised in Idaho since I was 1. I will soon report for my mission in Guatemala, and I plan to attend BYU in Provo when I return home. I love playing basketball and tennis, and I also love music, especially the piano. When I get older I hope to go to medical school and become a doctor.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it provides me with happiness and joy above all other things that are on this earth today. The teachings of the church continually remind me that Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ know me personally and individually and it helps me feel the love that He has for me. As a member of this church I have come to know for myself that there is more than just this life. Eternal Life and Happiness await me and everyone else after this life comes to a close. If I live and abide by God's Commandments I can inherit His kingdom in heaven. I know that families can be together for time and all eternity. I will get to see my mom and dad and my grandparents and sisters and my own wife and kids in heaven someday. This church and gospel do not ever require us to say goodbye to our families. For these reasons, I continue on the path of a Latter Day Saint.

How I live my faith

I go to church and participate in my classes by listening to others comments and also sharing what I have to say. I look for ways to serve others in any way that I can, whether it's helping someone with their yard work or just sharing a kind word with somebody I'm just passing by. I home teach two families with my dad and on occasion I'll teach my other sunday school classes when I can. At home I do my best to help my parents and keep peace in our house. Whenever I can I study the scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father for guidance or peace.
