Hi I'm Brandon Meeves

I was raised in Orem Utah. I play guitar & piano. I'm preparing to serve in the Xalapa Mexico Mission leaving on October 14th.

About Me

I love playing the Guitar and Piano. My family is very musical, and me and my two little brothers recently played a trio of Oh my Father at my grandfathers funeral. Music inspires me and music can help anyone relax and feel the spirit as long as it is appropriate. I am tall and I love playing basketball, volleyball, and competing in track. I played basketball for my high school team, and a city league where we were champions this past year. I speak Spanish and I started learning 10 years ago, in the second grade. I can speak pretty well but I have a lot to learn, especially about gospel terms and vocab.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel to two loving parents who both loved each other and both loved the Lord. Their faith in God helped me to gain a testimony. I know that through this church, I can live with my family for all of eternity. I know that this is the true church and that Joseph Smith had a question and suffered much to restore this wonderful gospel. I know that Jesus Christ died for us and he knows what we are going through. He has a plan for me and if I strive to do my duty in this life, then I will be filled with promised blessings of the Lord. I know that through the priesthood that I can bless the lives of others if I am worthy and willing. What this gospel has brought into my life is peace and happiness and I couldn't ask for a better life. Living the gospel is the best opportunity that anyone can take. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that revelation is given through prophets to guide is in our everyday lives.

How I live my faith

I was the priests quorum(16 to 18 year old young men) first counselor and was just recently released from that and seminary council once I graduated and became a Melchizedek priesthood holder. I go to church every Sunday. I help plan combined mutual activities when I am assigned. I try constantly to live like Christ and his example he has set for everyone. When someone gives me an assignment, I do my best to take care of it and magnify callings. I know I am not perfect, but with God's help I can be like him and live with him and my Family for eternity.
