Hi I'm Brandon

I grew up in southern utah, I got called to serve in the baltic mission to speak russian and I am a mormon

About Me

My name is Brandon and I live in a small county town in Utah. I love outdoor activities like; camping, fishing, hiking, boating, climbing, sledding, biking, shooting, and motor vehicle driving. If I am outside, I am happy! When I was about twelve years old, I spent more than a month camping outside in my yard. About that same time I bought my first motorcycle. I am fortunate to have been raised in a home with both of my parents. I am the oldest child and I have three sisters. As a consequence of having three sisters, I have learned how to make homemade bread, wash and iron clothes properly and braid hair. I have been called to serve in the Baltic Mission speaking Russian.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, first because I was raised a Mormon but second because I know that this is the true church. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and I know that it is the word of God! My life has peace and happiness because I live the teachings of our brother, Jesus Christ. That does not mean that there are not problems and that everything is easy, it just means that I know everything will work out. Heavenly Father is aware of me (and You) and when we follow him and his will for us, he is always there for us and can help to lighten our burdens. I know that this is the Church that Jesus Christ restored to earth and that Joseph Smith was a prophet. I know that today we have a true and living prophet on the earth, Thomas S. Monson, and as we follow his direction, our lives will be blessed for good. I am a mormon. I live it, I love it and I am grateful for the blessings in my life that comes from being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

As a member of the church, I have have many opportunities to help and serve those around me. That is one of the things our church teaches us. As we help others we focus on their needs and not our own. I think this can help us be less selfish and better about recognizing that everyone is a child of God and that we can help Him by helping them. I am also an Eagle Scout. This program has helped me learn things about work and service and adds to those things we are taught at church. As I was a student in High School, my faith enabled me to be helpful and kind to those who needed it and to understand that everyone is one of our Father in Heaven's Children. Not just the pretty or popular ones but EVERYONE! I love my Father in Heaven and I know that His son, Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. Because I have faith in this Church and in Jesus Christ, I know that I can rely on this and be able to return to live again with my Heavenly Father. As I repent and make those changes that I need to... I can come to be with him one day, and He wants me to be with him. He wants you to be with him too.
