Hi I'm Joshua Carpenter

I was born in Utah. I like video games and movies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been going to college for a year now at Weber State University. I'm not really sure what field I will work in, but I know it will have something to do with math or science. I love playing video games with friends. I worked at a movie theater for almost three years and loved it. I'm very shy at first but once you get to know me, I can be very fun to be around.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have always felt a feeling of peace when I embrace the teachings of the church. I know that the Holy Ghost has witnessed to me many times how important it is that I stay worthy to receive promptings and personal revelation from God. I have become very close to God through prayer. I have a very strong testimony of prayer and that God does answer every one of our prayers. I have received some much needed guidance in my life these past few years through prayer.

How I live my faith

I have been a member since I was born and I've always felt that this church is the right place to be for me. I have been called to serve a mission in the Reno Nevada mission. I've always tried to follow the teachings of the prophets and just like you, I have had my shares of trials, especially in the last couple of years. As I am preparing to serve my mission, I have become much more receptive to the Holy Ghost. I have always tried to make everyone happy and don't like to hurt others' feelings. I'd like to consider myself a peacemaker. I've always tried to surround myself with good friends who have similar values that I do, and I have been blessed for doing so.
