Hi I'm Gail

I grew up in a small Texas town where my parents helped start a branch of the Mormon church.

About Me

I am a retired school counselor. My husband and I have one son currently living in China with his wife and our three grandchildren. I belong to a quilt guild and am a beginning quilter. We make baby quilts for hospitals and quilts for women's shelters. I enjoy reading, hiking, and family outings.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it to be the Lord's plan of happiness for his people (everybody) to return to Him. I learned this at an early age through prayer and practice. My parents had many challenges. My sister who died in her forties was mentally handicapped and I had medical issues. They showed my two brothers and I how to solve problems through faith, prayer and many blessings. I have tried to follow their example and more importantly Christ's example through my own trials of faith. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have participated in the Mormon church my entire life. Since I was raised in a small town with few Mormons, I always participated in my church, but visited other friend's churches as well. I have always taught classes in my church and was a teacher when I turned twelve because there were so few members in our town.
