Hi I'm Karly

I'm a student studying Piano Performance & Pedagogy. I love being in the beautiful Utah mountains & spending time with my family.

About Me

I grew up in a big family of nine! We have so much fun and there's always lots to do. I have taught piano for three years and it is my favorite thing! I have studied piano for twelve years and last fall I started college at BYU in the Piano Performance & Pedagogy Program. Starting college has been a dream. Aside from school and piano, I love to hike, camp, play guitar, read, and play soccer! Recently I have been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and can't wait to see what adventures that brings me next!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon makes me happy! For me, life can get busy, stressful, and even depressing sometimes, and being a Mormon always gives me a hope and an outlet to forget the struggles of the world and lean on the gospel and Christs love. Christ paid for all of our mistakes, so it always gives us a chance to try and improve upward. To me, it helps life make sense when the world does not. I know that living as a Mormon it sometimes is not the easiest thing, but I really have found for myself that it is the happiest way for me to live.

How I live my faith

By living my faith, I try to make it important to go to church and study my scriptures. As well, I think it's important and fun to participate in activities in my community and ward. I always want to try my best and reach out to others and help with their needs; try to do my best what Christ would have me do.
